M2O Cares

Project: Ronald McDonald House
Category: Partnership Content
M2O had the incredible opportunity to donate our services to the Ronald MacDonald House BC (RMH). In order to assist RMH in a fundraising campaign for a new $20,000,000 facility on the site of Vancouver Children’s Hospital.

M2O collaborated with Cossette & RMH to create and develop a story highlighting the amazing work that the Ronald MacDonald House BC undertakes in Vancouver. Over a period of weeks we produced a short video that tells the RMH story from the people that live there and use its services.

This was a rewarding experience for the entire crew. We witnessed many diverse families finding solace in the supportive environment that the house provides for children healing from chronic illnesses and medical treatment. The video brought tears at the Gala and will live on throughout the year online to help people get an understanding of RMH and what it does for the community.

ConnectedLife

Project: STR & ConnectedLife
Category: Rebranding
M2O has two tech shows. Our nationally syndicated tech show is called: The Shaw Tech Report. As well as ConnectedLife, Canada’s longest running tech show on the web (launched 3 months before YouTube came to Canada).

Since the launch of the ConnectedLife in the summer of 2007, the branding had been the same. So it was high time for a refresh. The intro length was too long and needed to be shortened to 5-7 seconds. From there the team designed a new logo and a developed a new set of motion graphics to freshen up the look.

With The Shaw Tech Report, we had inherited graphics and music that we were never really up our alley. The staff at M2O felt as the whole brand could use a refresh. With all the rebranding occurring we began to look at our company brand as well. We liked our logo but our design team felt that with small tweaks it could read a bit better. In the end, we gave 2 full makeovers of our tech shows and had original music composed for both, in addition to a new take on our company logo, complete with letterhead and extremely unique business cards.

Future Shop CES

Project: Future Shop CES 2013
Category: Rapid Production – Branded Content
Future Shop is a retailer in the tech field. But with their Tech Yeah blog, they are also leaders in the tech news space as well.

To reinforce this Future Shop asked M2O Digital Agency to plan and produce quality, timely and unique Consumer Electronics Show (CES) video content to reinforce Future Shop’s positioning as the source for exciting technology news.

We obliged by creating an innovative rapid real-time video production solution. Videos were up within 1 hr of filming. First they were uploaded to the Future Shop YouTube channel with SEO and SEM. After uploading they were immediately embedded into the Tech Yeah blog which leveraged Future Shop’s high Alexa rating and boosted the videos google juice even further.

We completed 66 videos in English and French in 3 days; more than any news organization at CES.
